Ayumi Hamasaki will be releasing two new singles in two weeks in a row, and one song, “Crossroad”, created by Tetsuya Komuro. This is the first time Tetsuya Komuro has made a song just for Ayu, although he sang one song before with Keiko. Komuro will also make a follow up song “Crossroad”, but the title has not been determined.
According to Oricon style, “Crossroad” is a ballad and was recorded in early July.
“Crossroad” will be released on September 22, and one week later, Ayu also will release the “L” on September 29. “L” will include three songs, but details about it have not yet revealed.
|Popular singer Ayumi Hamasaki have set the release of her newest album, Rock’n’Roll Circus, as well of a new live DVD called ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 A ～NEXT LEVEL～ for April 14th.
Rock’n’Roll Circus, will be Ayumi’s eleventh original album so far since her latest full-length CD NEXT LEVEL, which was released in March last year. This album will feature 14 songs total, including all her latest four singles: You were…, BALLAD, Sunrise ~LOVE IS ALL~ and Sunset ~LOVE IS ALL~, as well as the brand-new songs Microphone and Don’t look back, which are currently being used as commercials in Japan.
Two editions of the album are going on sale, one of these accompanied by a DVD including eight different music videos and making-ofs, plus a digest video of the live DVD ayumi hamasaki ARENA TOUR 2009 A ～NEXT LEVEL～. A special edition including the album and the full DVD is also being released in the same day as a limited box set.
As for the Live DVD, it is a three-disc set featuring footage from one of Ayumi’s performances at Yoyogi Daiichi Taiikukan in 2009, which was part of her latest arena tour. This tour spanned 35 dates in approximately seven months and mobilized almost 300,000 people. 24 songs, as well as screen footage and all the MCs from the concert have been recorded to give shape to the release.
